MISS NICOLE - FOUNDER/DIRECTOR

Miss Nicole is a Chicago Native, growing up and still residing in the Lakeview area. Attending St. Benedict Elementary School, Resurrection High School College Prep, then obtaining her B.S. from Northern Illinois University where she became a member of the Delta Gamma Foundation. Miss Nicole first put on dance shoes before entering elementary school and has yet to take them off!

Miss Nicole has received various awards in both Dance and Gymnastics in the areas of performance, choreography and costuming. Traveling extensively over the years, she has been privileged to dance not only here in Chicago, but experience the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York, to the studios of Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.

In 2009 Miss Nicole visited Rio de Janiero witnessing Brazil’s very own Carnival which really does represent a whole new level of pride in Samba Dance and Brazilian Culture. During the summers of 2011 and 2012 she spent time at The Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Fall of 2013, she visited Toyko and was able to experience Broadway Dance Center in Japan. To her, the most fascinating part is dancing with many international visitors whom don’t understand the English language and pick up choreography solely by the movement of the instructor and sound of the music.

In 2015 Miss Nicole soley purchased, built and opened Millennium Dance Complex-Chicago. Excited to bring a California brand to Chicago, she learned Mid-West and West Coast don't smoothly mesh, it's a re-branding project she individually continues to work on for Chicago. Trials of working with the City of Chicago is an experience one would not (and should not) fight alone. The Flagship location may have thrown in the towel, however, the strong Chicago girl she is will do anything and everything to benefit her dancer's and give them first class training.

Miss Nicole started teaching post-college and has now worked with an uncountable number of dancer's. From the tiniest dancer still in diapers, the Recreational dancer, up to the Competitive dancer she stands stern when it comes to there is no, “I can’t”, we all must try. Proud to say to all her dancer's, if she gave up everytime things got hard, they would not be in class. She believes that music is wonderful for the growing minds and Dance is not only a great physical outlet for children, but there is a learned discipline and camaraderie that carries on way beyond childhood and prepping for adolescence and adulthood.
